The Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme & Client Money Protection

In accordance with prevailing Housing Act law all security deposit monies received by Capitol Mangagement are placed in trust with the Government backed Deposit Protection Scheme the DPS (www.depositprotection.com ) The purpose of this regulation is to ensure good practice and the safety of these monies. The secondary purpose is to try and keep disputes between landlords and tenants out of the courts by encouraging Alternative Dispute Resolution. All rents received by Capitol Management are paid over to the landlords account within 7 days of receipt. We hold full client money protection insurance. We are a member of Client Money Protection Scheme no. CMP002853.

Complaints

In the first instance your complaint should be addressed to the MD at Capitol Management, The Burrow, Bunkers Hill, Belvedere, Kent, DA17 6LH. We aim to handle all complaints swiftly and efficiently but if you remain unhappy with any outcome then the matter can be escalated by resolution to the The Property Ombudsman to which we belong.
